Come on down to The Shepherd of the Hills and take a trail ride through history. This 45 minute ride is on horses used in the action packed drama, The Shepherd of the Hills, runs through the historic homestead, and will take you on some of the same trails the Baldknobbers rode. See the majestic Ozark hills, The Trail Nobody Knows How Old, ride down in the Holler, all in the beautiful shade of the Ozark woods. This is your chance to ride a real show horse.
Rides are available between Memorial Day and Labor Day. They operate every hour on the hour Monday-Saturday (subject to change) from 9am-2pm. In extreme heat, rides will only be offered at 9AM, 10am, 11am, and 12pm.
Guide Lines:
Riders need to arrive 30 minutes before ride time to sign waivers and have a brief orientation.
Riders must be at least 7 years old and 48 inches tall.
Riders cannot exceed 250 lbs and have over a size 14 shoe
Riders must wear closed toed shoes, no flip flops or sandals
Riders 17 and under will be provided with a helmet and must wear it
Adult riders must be able to get on a horse by themselves.
No rides on Wed & Sun. Closes Sept. 2.
